SDX Newsletter — March 2026

First licensed content products, expanded compliance frameworks, and growing ecosystem adoption.

First Licensed Content Products Approved by the Board

The Board has approved the first set of licensed content products: anonymized, aggregated benchmark datasets by property type and geography. These products are available to third-party buyers — analysts, index providers, lenders, and advisory firms. Data contributors receive all licensed content free for their own internal use. No raw, owner-identifiable data is ever sold.

Compliance Framework Expansion

SDX now supports 16+ regulatory and voluntary reporting frameworks. New additions this month include full GRESB 2026 alignment, updated NYC LL97 emissions calculations, Boston BERDO net-zero pathway tracking, and Energize Denver performance requirements. All compliance outputs are generated automatically from the same underlying data submission.

Ecosystem Growth

Third-party software providers are integrating with the SDX API at pace. Integration partners contribute data on behalf of their owner clients at zero cost and can read benchmarks and scores through the same API. The platform has onboarded buildings across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Consultant Experience Enhancements

Authorized representatives now have access to a consolidated dashboard showing all clients' KPIs at a glance, an in-app organization switcher, and permission-aware UI that adapts based on the access level granted by each owner. Every action is logged with full actor identity and audit context.

Data Dividend Update

The first quarterly dividend calculation is underway. Contributors will receive their allocation based on the published formula — weighted by buildings, floor area, data quality, and completeness. Payments will be distributed following Board approval of the quarterly financials.

What's Next

In April, we will launch the sandbox environment for API integrators, expand utility auto-feed coverage to additional European and Asia-Pacific utilities, and publish the first SDX benchmark index — a market-level performance indicator derived from the contributed data.
